​The prestigious Eastside Awards in association with Belfast City Airport has launched with new categories to recognise the best of East Belfast. Having already celebrated the talents and achievements of more than 250 East Belfast people from all walks of life who have been named as finalists and winners over the past eight years, this year it could be your turn to be acknowledged for making waves in the community by the judges and voting public.

Finalists of this year's Eastside Awards in association with George Best Belfast City Airport, have been arrived at from a diverse range of entries received across all categories.
Seven of this year’s Eastside Awards 'favourites' categories were opened to a public vote and almost 14,000 votes were cast online via Belfast Live as the public supported their favourite beauty business, eatery, hairdresser/barber, primary teacher, post primary teacher, school hero and takeaway.

Voting has officially opened for the eighth year of the prestigious Eastside Awards in association with George Best Belfast City Airport. We were inundated with nominations and we have narrowed each category down to a top 5 for the public vote and the shortlisted are listed below!

Voting will be open until 6pm on the 30th of November 2023 so there is plenty of time to choose your favourite. Once you have voted don't forget to share with your friends so they can pick theirs!
